Countervailing Power: The Reason We Exist

Have you ever felt like something is wrong with our government and country?

It does not matter where you stand on the political spectrum, who you pray or don’t pray to, what state you’re from or currently reside in, what language you speak, whether you immigrated here or have roots going all the way back, and especially the color of your skin, if you live in America you know something isn’t right.

There is about a 100% chance you’ll agree with us, America isn’t functioning correctly. In fact it hasn’t functioned correctly for many years.

The current situation with Trump isn’t the cause of the problem, it’s the end result of it. The balance of power in America has become so distorted, tipped so far to one side, and we all know it.

The system we are supposed to depend on to uphold justice, to uphold democracy, and the rule of law have been corrupted and no longer work as they should.

The government continues to let us down, and we can see the wealth is so vast for a very small amount of people but feels unattainable to nearly all of us. They tell ust feels like things are rigged against us, it’s because they are.

Does it bother you to see ICE terrorizing our cities, Trump the . Presidential position to personally gain billions by accepting bribes, buddying up to dictators in foreign countries who run brutal murdering authoritarian regimes like Putin’s Russia, Kim Jong Un in North Korea, Netanyahu who’s committing a genocide in Israel, and others.

Have you been doom scrolling social media feed or stuck to a screen in a state of utter disbelief, enraged by the daily destruction of our constitutional norms and blatant dismissal of the law by a wannabe dictator who is preparing our country for the authoritarian takeover they believe is inevitable?

Have you participated in the No Kings protests, made noise on social media about the genocide going on in Gaza, live in a city under siege by Trumps army he’s building inside the US and are disgusted by what you are seeing?

Have you watched as the Supreme Court, the Republican controlled house and senate, or any of Trump’s cabinet members desecrate the constitution?

Have you wondered, when is the House going to stop this blatant disregard for the law, and hold these people accountable for breaking their oaths, lying to the American people, blowing up boats in the Caribbean, illegally bombing foreign countries without the consent of Congress, and destroying the economy?

Have you, like us, come to the conclusion that no one is going to save us this time?

Have you realized that the US govt is the one we count on to do right by Americans, protect us from dictators, and prevent things like this from happening? Do you know that same govt has been demolished by the man in charge and he has no plans on ever leaving?

We are… Alone.

It’s a terrifying feeling knowing our world has just been flipped upside down, and we are powerless to do anything…

Or are we?

We have been thinking and feeling all the same things you probably have. Scared, angry, shocked, bewildered, embarrassment and in a constant state of . We thought, “We’re have to do something, NOW!”

But what? What can we do? A person, unless their a billionaire, has no chance of making a dent in this machine. Protesting is important, no question about it, but it feels like there is more we - I should be doing!

This is OUR country! The President declared us, you and I, and ANYONE who disagrees with them as “enemies from within,” and as “domestic terrorists.”

They brought EVERY single senior military official to an in person meeting in order to tell them they might be called on to fight and defeat US.

This is not a normal day in America anymore. We are being painted with the same language they use to bomb and kill fisherman in boats, and Trump has already said to his Gestapo army that they could use, “full force.” A term referring to the use of guns, tactics, and any other means necessary to eliminate Americans.

Who is standing up for us? Who is telling the news reporters that this is now a dictatorship? Which of them is screaming from the rafters, “We have been overthrown by a senile and deranged con man and a Republican party who have turned against America, and who is blatantly terrorizing Americans, and immigrants who, most of which, are here legally and are not criminals at all?”

Aside from a handful of House Democrats and Senators, and an even smaller group of governors across the US, who by the way, are very much appreciated and needed in this dark hour, the left has been rather silent.

In contrast, when Biden was president, Fox News, and every other media outlet was riding the, “Biden is too old and needs to retire,” wave. There were several members of Congress, the Senate, and news outlets everywhere being critical, or outright lying about how destructive Biden was to our country.

Truthfully, Biden was actually a very productive president and did a lot for the American people. I don’t want to focus on his presidency however. The point is, news outlets are mostly owned by the same billionaires who helped Trump get elected.

Either that, or they are scared of the govt attacking their organization. So instead of calling out the destruction of our democracy, they refuse to challenge this weak and foolish old man who desperately wants us to forget he’s a felon, or how he tried to overthrow the govt once already, and is covering up his personal involvement in the sexual abuse and rape of hundreds of girls, some as young as 13 years old, and his decade’s long involvement with Jeffery Epstein.

The People Have the Power, We Must Become the Countervailing Power

Because no one is coming to save us!

The Trump regime has decimated our govt, the constitution, American’s rights, and every single day they inch closer to completing their fascist takeover.

The very thing our founders feared the most has come at last. We have an authoritarian dictator in the White House attempting to become a king. He doesn’t even hide it. He’s said so a number of times.

They are preparing to take over the country once and for all.

This is why we were formed, but our movement is preparing to fix what has been broken for more than 50 years. A democracy that no longer works for the people is no democracy. The balance of power in America and the

We realized that there is a need for organization. We must come together, every American who cares about the rule of law, care about democracy, and feels like they want to DO something, anything, but they aren’t sure what they can do.

You can join the movement. The Countervailing Power movement and organization that plans to create a balancing force to counteract the corruption and dark monied interests that control our govt.

Below are some of the ways we plan to start making a difference every day.

Assist Families Torn Apart

We know across the country there are families, children, moms and dads, who’s lives have been uprooted and destroyed by ICE. We want to create shelters, volunteers, and a system where we can get help to those children, families, and anyone who’s been affected by ICE as soon as they need it.

Whether they need help locating shelter, resources, food assistance, locating family members, or whatever they may need. Many of these people may have no way to track or find loved ones. We need to create a system of tracking, locating, and helping families torn apart by these brutal and unconstitutional acts of kidnapping.

Organized Resistance

By coming together and organizing we can easily communicate and strategize ways to target organizations, and corporations who are assisting in this takeover.

We will use our numbers to organize virtual, phone, and physical disruptions of their businesses. Keeping everything legal we can flood them with demands, protest at their place of business, and create the one thing businesses don’t want, loud opposition to their products or services.

Think, Jimmy Kimmel. By making enough noise around their firing of comedian Jimmy Kimmel people were able to convince ABC to reverse their stance and not fire him.

We can affect change in this same way.

Demanding Better Wages

Right now, in 2025 the federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. This is unacceptable! However, getting lawmakers to enact change may still take time.

We must bring the fight to the corporate fat cats who put profit over people in every sector of the economy. We can accomplish this by working with unions, workers (that’s all of us), to rebuild America’s unions one company at a time.

The larger our movement gets, and the more workers who we can help unionize, the better wages and benefits they can begin to earn. As our unions grow and the economy begins to become union dominated, those unions can then lobby on our behalf giving the working class fair representation in Washington again.

Strengthen Our Communities

We create local chapters for people to gather in person to get to know each other and form close knit groups and chapters as a way to become human again.

For too long we have become so focused on our phones and devices it has attributed to the stark division we see in America today. One way to combat this is to form local groups to interact with our community members in person.

It will help us create stronger neighborhoods, where we can foster strong community values. Churches do this already, maybe your town is doing this already. If so, that’s great!

Beware of any groups, whether they be churches or other groups who push division, tell you it’s ok to own people, tell you women’s rights should be taken away, or any other non-Christian like messages.

The white nationalist’s movement is using Christianity as a way to convince people they are doing Christ’s work. They are not! Do not listen to their lies. Remember, the Nazi party claimed they too were a Christian movement.

Fight Injustice and the Unlawful Jailing of Anyone

One of our goals is to help those people with fraudulent, bogus, and fabricated charges who may be detained unlawfully receive lawful and fair justice.

The man who speaks up against Trump in an online group gets arrested for a meme he posted, or the detainment of protestors who are unlawfully arrested and jailed. We must help our fellow Americans who may think they are alone.

We must show them they did the right thing, and are not alone.

We Elect New Leaders

We help get people elected we know will NOT take Pac money, dark money, and who are able to put their constituents above themselves. Our elected leaders should be there to do the bidding of their constituents, not line their pockets while ignoring those who elected them.

We want leaders who are America first, not Israel first! We want leaders who will refuse APAIC money, will not vote to continue providing foreign countries with bombs who are committing war crimes, or capitulate to any other lobbyists who are pushing an agenda that doesn’t align with the American people.

We have ALL the power!

We the people have all the power because we have the numbers. It’s time we organize, and use that power to create a world we can live and thrive in.

There are many other projects, movements, and goals we can work towards such as helping the environment, standing up to ICE enforcement, the media, and many more.

We can do this! We can create the America we deserve to be. It’s 2025, and it’s never been easier to connect with each other. Let’s use technology to create a movement that speaks with one voice, and create a world where our children can become better off than we are.

Let’s create a world where we aren’t scared to get sick because we know it could bankrupt us. Create a world where our govt is not killing innocent children in foreign countries for oil, or anything else.
