All the ways the Trump administration has broken the law, benefited from corruption, ignored the constitution, and is harming American democracy

There has never been a president in the history of America who has used their power in such a corrupt, and self-serving way as Trump.
We will examine all the ways Trump has personally benefited from his presidency. We will also look at the actions he's taken that have made America weaker, eroded our democracy, and used the position of power to disrupt the economy, attack opponents, silence those who attempt to shed light on these actions, and how his party has become complicit to these acts.
Trump has spent his entire life as a wealthy inheritance of his father's money. People give Trump too much credit as being a wealthy businessman, and skilled negotiator. The truth is, Trump is a fraud. He's failed and bankrupt more businesses than any other figure in modern history.
In fact, if Trump would have kept his father's money in the bank and not done anything with it, he would have far more wealth as he did as of Jan, 2024. I say this because during Trump's second term, he's taken advantage of his presidential position in order to gain personal wealth that have made him and his family very rich.
Not surprisingly, nearly everything he's done to attain this wealth, has been done through corruption, is illegal, goes against the constitution, and harms the American people.
List of corrupt, illegal, and unconstitutional acts committed by Trump
I wanted to compile and keep track of all the ways Trump, and his regime, have broken the law, and defied our constitution. Nearly every day since Trump has been back in office, since 2024, there seems to be something new every day.
This constant state of disbelief and outrage are reasons to worry, and to not stay silent whenever possible. There ARE ways we can fight back against this attempted destruction of American Democracy. I want to be perfectly clear on this point, Trump is absolutely attempting to overthrow our democracy and transform it into one where he alone controls the entire government.
Many of the main stream media outlets have already caved to pressure from Trump's attacks on free speech and through the weaponizing of the DOJ, which Trump has turned into his personal attack vehicle to go after his political opponents, media outlets who report on stories Trump doesn't agree with, and most recently covered up the Epstein files, which we all know Trump is named in.

Trump tried to bribe President Zelensky of Ukraine, to launch an investigation into his political rival, by withholding funds and weapons already approved by congress to be given to Ukraine. He was already impeached for this crime, but the Senate, who at the time was controlled by the Republicans, decided not to remove him from office, even though there was a recording, and a mountain of evidence.
Trump lied to the American people about the 2020 election being stolen from him. He knowingly lost the election, and instead of graciously accepting defeat, like every president has done in American history. Instead, he repeated lies, and spread disinformation to his followers, even after every single attempt in court failed to produce a shred of evidence that the election was stolen from him. Still to this day, he continues the lie.
He called thousands of his followers to the capitol on the day congress was certifying Biden's win over Trump for the 2020 election, and he incited violence, and led a violent mob to the steps of the capitol building. His followers, led by Trump, then descended upon congress, who was at that moment, confirming Biden's win, and they assaulted, murdered, and attacked police officers who were defending the building. This attempted insurrection to overthrow the government led to Trump's second impeachment during his first term. It also launched a thorough, and very incriminating, bi-partisan investigation by congress. Before Trump could be tried for his crimes, the Supreme Court, with the conservative majority, decided unconstitutionally, that a President cannot be tried in court for ANY action done in an official capacity. (This is one of the most unconstitutional, and planned out decisions by a Supreme Court, ever. They essentially created a King, who cannot ever do ANYTHING that will get them in trouble, as long as it's done in an official capacity. Your guess is as good as mine, what that actually means.)
Illegally accepted a bribe by the governments of the UAE and Qartar in the form of a $500 million dollar jet plane, Trump plans to keep after he leaves office. In exchange he approved a sale of weapons to these foreign governments. He also approved the sale and investment into giving the Saudis highly sought after computer chips that our govt was not allowing based on fears they'll end up in China, Russia, and in the hands of terrorists. Trump made the deal anyway. He also received the plans for a new Trump hotel and golf course costing several millions of dollars each.
Gutting and shutting down entire branches of the federal government, and preventing money already approved by congress, to be withheld from several govt branches, including USAID, Dept of Education, Veteran affairs, and others.
He illegally launched broad tariffs against nearly every country in the world, except Russia, and claimed it was because America was getting ripped off by these countries for years. He also allowed several members of his White house staff or friends profit off of insider trading on market fluctuations caused by Trump tariffs being announced, or rescinded.
He launched a meme coin that foreign governments and oligarchs around the world can put money into, and then can call Trump and let him know what favors they want, and that they just deposited money in his stable coin. Trump, can then withdraw the money he's earned, which is something like 80% of the funds deposited. He's already gained several billion dollars from foreign entities, and some of the favors aren't yet known. Some countries have used this method of bribery to deliver to Trump money for favorable outcomes in a number of legal areas. Trump's self-enrichment, which comes directly off the tax-payers, you and I, and benefits him and his wealthy backers alone.
Trump has unconstitutionally, and very illegally, ordered the use of military personal, including the national guard, marines, and various others, for use inside America against American citizens. The national guard can only be called upon by the governor of a state unless during a time of invasion by a foreign government, which never happened. He continues to use the military to instill fear, and the attempted propaganda disinformation campaign, which is pushing the narrative that LA is under siege by extremists on the left. This, of course, is untrue.
A Drop in the Bucket
These are but a few of the very damaging and harmful acts Trump has purposefully acted on is but a drop in the bucket. He's guilty of far more acts of neglect, abuse, breaking his oath of office, ignoring his constitutional duty to defend the American people, breaking laws, and blatant, brazen, and daring acts of corruption enacted in plain sight, make him one of the greatest dangers America has ever faced.
Never in the history of this country has a president sought to abuse their power in such a way. Even Nixon, and several of the other right wing presidents who favor business and the wealthy over the American people, always had good intentions for American prosperity and goals to maintain the republic at any cost.
Trump treats the position as if he were a king. During his first term, there were a lot of people who prevented the majority of the awful things Trump wanted to do. Since his second term started, he has swiftly, and purposefully eliminated any and all positions that could possibly prevent him from doing anything he desires. He's installed 'yes men' into every position possible, and the Republican party have been complicit in undermining the constitutional oath to check the power of the executive branch.
Looking at the way Trump has ran his entire business empire, it's no wonder why he filed for bankruptcy 6 different times, why he was such a massive failure in business, and why he has to tell people he's, "so good at business."
People who are skilled and talented at what they do don't have to announce their talent. It's just obvious to everyone around them. In fact, the most skilled and the best professionals are always humble and talk about their talents in a way that sounds like they don't know a thing. It's because real masters of any trade understand that once you reach the highest levels there is so much more to master.
Trump is a con man! That's all he's ever been, that and a sexually abusive pedophile, who was best friends with Jeffery Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Trump has abused his power in such a way, and in such an open way, it seems to have confused a lot of people.
The right wing media, including Fox news, has been one of the ways Trump has been able to get away with so many illegal acts. By excusing, lying, enabling, and misinforming his followers into believing anything negative about him is an attempt to attack an innocent man, they've helped to allow the rise of fascism in America.
Where to go From Here
The rise of Trump's fascist American regime is not going away any time soon. The Republican party has abandoned their oaths to defend American democracy, and have aided and abetted the most corrupt President that's ever held office. Unfortunately, Republicans usually hold half, or more of the government.
The only way to eliminate this fascist regime from gaining more power and furthering the downfall of American democracy is to prevent them from ever holding office again. We MUST vote against them in every election, in every position, and in every way possible show them America is NOT going to allow a fascist dictator to overthrow our country.
No one is going to save us. There is no one coming to help protect us from Trump. There is no government agency that has the ability to defend us any more. Only WE the PEOPLE can rid our country of this abomination, and wannabe king. We must show up to every election, and vote for democrats or independents, or anyone who decries the Trump regime. We must send a message to the Republican party, that the American people are not going to sit by and allow them to destroy our Republic!
Join our members groups and connect with others in your area and around the country to build and create unified divisions where we speak with one voice, and use our countervailing power to build reforms, eliminate the corrupt Supreme Court by creating laws that prevent lifetime appointments, and no way to hold them accountable when they break their oaths.
It's time to fight back against this tyrannical regime that we've allowed to come into power!
